Jan. 25, 2007: Construction is on hold for the winter months. There is still some dredge material left to haul off, and some minimal dredging to complete when the weather is better. Spring will bring work on the trails and boardwalks as well as the new parking area near 83^rd Street.

Dec. 18, 2006: The contractor continues to dredge and deepen the lake. Work will also begin on removing some trees for the trail that will go in on the south side of the lake.

Nov. 7, 2006: Dewatering of the lake has begun.

Oct. 20, 2006: Construction contract has been awarded. The first phase of construction will include dewatering the lake.
