New Development Standards

The Governing Body adopted on April 20, 2004 new development standards aimed at reducing the amount of stormwater generated from all new developments in Lenexa. These standards will reduce the amount of impervious (impermeable) surface area associated with parking lots and streets and subsequently reduce the volume of stormwater runoff while seeking to reduce the negative impacts associated with urbanization to water quality.
