Design of your restoration garden
You can design your own Rain Garden by using the design principles in Table 1, by calculating the amount of rain your Rain Garden will receive from rooftop runoff (Table 2), and then, by calculating the size of your rain garden, using criteria charted in Table 3. Table 4 provides lists of plant species that can be investigated and specified for your Rain Garden design.
The design process begins by answering the following basic questions. Your answers will largely determine the approach you want to take in the design process.
